HI

I am making the Peppa pig cake and plan to make the models tonight ready for applying to the iced cake tomorrow as I am really short on time at the moment. Does Paul add CMC to all the models for this cake? I have only had a very quick look at the tutorial so far and wasn’t sure what to do here. Any help would be great thanks very much in advance.

I think Paul uses straight sugarpaste but it’s fine to use a little cmc powder to help the drying. Paul always does say this in other tutorials. The models will carry on drying once you’ve got them stood up.

Thanks very much indeed for getting back to me so promptly on this topic. I used CMC on the most of the models and of course where Paul said they should be used. The cake turned out very well indeed and my little granddaughter recognised immediately that it was a Peppa pig cake, making all the long hours involved in the decorating process well worth it.
