Freezing Paul’s chocolate cake

Hi I made Paul’s chocolate cake it’s turned out lovely. I have a Neff oven I baked it at 135 degrees.
My problem is the 6 inch was fine to take out of the tin & wrap in cling film but the 10 inch was hard to lift & turn without breaking it. Any advice? I wanted to freeze the cakes

Thank you
Martina

Hi Martina

Apologies for late, late reply. I guess you must have an answer by now from other sources. However, I find for best results for unmoulding this cake is to freeze it the baking tin. Once it is set, it will unmould without breaking.
Tort the cake partially frozen for easier handling.
