Clare bowman lace mats
I have just watched this weeks tutorial and loved the lace around cake, I was just wondering has anyone used this product before and how do you find it? I am interested in buying the mat and icing but it is quite expensive and I did not want to buy it only to find I am hopeless using it. I would appreciate any comments people have. Thank you Glen.

I’ve used this product quite a few times, in fact, I’ve just received the gold and silver icing. It’s very easy to use, don’t think you’ll have any trouble with it, and yes, it can be expensive, but there are lots of mats available, and I have just gone halves with a friend, we’ve even halved a mat, as it’s so quick to make. I’ve got a gas oven, and find it take about 20mins, on the lowest setting, then you’re ready to go.
