Chocolate sheet cake

HI
I would like to make a Paddington bear suitcase cake and wondered if anyone knows of a suitable recipe for a fairly rich chocolate sheet cake. Alternatively would Paul’s rich chocolate cake recipe be ok baked in a 35x25cm roasting tin be suitable please? Many thanks xx

Certainly Paul’s cake recipe can be used, it makes a gorgeous tasting cake. Use the online cake recipe calculator to scale the pre loaded recipe here: https://www.cakeflix.com/cake-calculators
Another great recipe is Jane Hornby’s chocolate cake here: https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/4577/wedding-cake-rich-dark-chocolate-cake
or you could also use the one in my blog here: https://www.cakeflix.com/cakelife/how-to-make-chocolate-mud-cake/
Again, the site’s online recipe calculator can be used but this is not pre loaded on the calculator so you will need to put in your own ingredients to get the scaled recipe.

If you don’t want such rich cakes perhaps consider making a chocolate maderia. Here is a great recipe which can also be scaled up or down as you want: http://www.sarahsibley.com/large-chocolate-madeira-cake/

Hope these will suit. Come back if you need help. xx
