Cake box corner extenders
Is it just me or does anyone else agree that the cost of cake box corner extenders is very expensive for essentially a strip of card folded in half! I wondered whether there would be any issue if I just bought white corrugated card and made my own. As it wouldn’t be in direct contact with the cake would it still need to be classed as ‘food safe’ ?

There’s no need to buy anything, take a peek here for ideas using stuff you already have at home:
Any boxes which have contained food are safe to use. I sometimes get strong boxes from the supermarket and make a tall box. See how to do it by googling ‘how to make a cake delivery box’.
