Data Collection and Retention
Members who sign up for a Free, Premium or Pro membership will be asked for specific details in order to set up an account.
Below is a list of the mandatory data fields that we hold for members:
- Role - defined by the membership type you signed up to
- First name
- Last name
- Nickname - which is username
- Email address
There are a number of other optional fields including, but not restricted to:
- Individual course purchases - if any
- IP address
- Custom capabilities - access level
- Admin notes
No payment details are held, however to link members details to the payment merchant we hold:
- Paid subscriber gateway
- Paid subscriber ID
- EOT - when membership is to come to an end
A full list of all data held will be made available within 72hrs and can be requested via our Contact Form (enter: DATA REQUEST as the subject).
Data is stored on our secure servers and can only be accessed by authorised Admin users at Paul Bradford Sugarcraft School.
Admin users have received the appropriate training and are subject to our internal Procedural Instructions.
Where any data breach occurs Paul Bradford Sugarcraft School will notify the affected individual(s) at the earliest opportunity and no later than 72 hours after becoming aware of the breach.
Data will be held for long as the user is a member of Paul Bradford Sugarcraft School. Note that when a paying member cancels their Premium or Pro account they are reverted to the Free account so the data continues to be stored.
Anyone who wishes their account to be deleted should let us know via our Contact Form (enter: DELETE ACCOUNT as the subject) and this will be done within 72 hours. Once an account has been deleted then no live data on that individual will be held.
Backups are taken daily to ensure that in the event of any website issues members data can be restored to ensure continuity of service.
