About the Course
This cake certainly has the ‘WOW’ factor. You will be working with modelling chocolate and carving techniques to create a cone shaped wrap design. You will learn to work with cocoa form and handle the chocolate in such a way that allows malleability to shape the wrap cake to your desired specification. Chocolate balls, roses, fans and cut out shapes will be created and dusted to add the perfect finishing touches to this elegant cake.
About your Tutor
Meet Evelyn Salaverria. She runs Fancy Cake Crafts which is located in Preston Lancashire just 45 minutes north of Manchester.
Evelyn worked as a business administrator for 10 years in her home country, Venezuela, but after moving to Europe she decided to work with cakes and crafts which are her passions. She has been making crafts since she was a teenager and decorating cakes since 2008. It was a friend of hers who inspired her to get into cake decorating. The friend told her that she knew how to make almost all kind of crafts but not cakes. Since then she have taken training in the UK, Florence, Hong Kong, Denmark and Venezuela. She is specialized in hand painting, airbrush and modelling (in sugar paste and Cold Porcelain). Now she is a Paul Bradford Accredited Tutor offering PB courses besides her own.
Evelyn loves teaching, meeting new people, passing on her knowledge and helping students to explore their creativity and improve their cake decorating and artistic skills.
