Hi
Can you answer me this question please, If you want to bake a cake but want to use a cake tin rather than 2 sandwich tins, would this be ok and what changes would you make?

Yes you can is the quick answer. When you bake in a deeper pan the baking time increases and depending on how big the recipe is, the baking temperature may have to be reduced. Sometimes even the recipe may have to be slightly adjusted. Making a trial cake would give you a better idea on how to make the adjustments.
I don’t know which recipe you are using so I can’t give you a more definitive answer. Hope this helps.
