Hi Milo1

I’ve searched and searched for both and can’t find any tutorials. Paul has a tutorial for a sugar daisy which could be adapted for asters http://www.cakeflix.com/blog/how-to-make-a-sugar-daisy
Each daisy petal will have to be cut into 3 to make the aster shape head. Follow Paul’s tutorial for the centre and wiring.
If you look in google images at pictures of the nigella flowers you’ll see that they look like leaves. I suppose you could use the very tiny pme leave plunge cutter for the flower petals. How you bring them all together and also make all the very wispy fern like leaves will be a challenge.
I’ve read in several blogs that Nicholas Lodge has a tutorial on nigells (love in the mist) but I can’t find any details of purchase.
If all fails, it is perfectly acceptable to use silk flowers with your client’s approval. I’m assuming here that the flowers are for cake decoration?? I’m so sorry not to be of more help. I hope other members will be able to make other sugggestions.
