Hi There

I’m in Sheffield and have had a customer order a cake to take down to surrey. My worry is that the cake is being collected 6 days before the event which means it will over 9 days old before it is cut. Will the sponge last this long once it is covered with fondant? I appreciate any help you can give me

I supplied a sugarpaste covered sponge cake and choc cake to a customer for 29th Aug and they messaged me last week to say they had just cut it and it was delicious. I nearly had a heart attack when I realised they’d kept it that long but they were very happy with it. 🙂
