Halloween monster cake

Just watching the tutorial of the Halloween monster cake,I wanted to know if I could freeze the monster once the chocolate moulding of the face has been completed?

Hi Helena

I use Squire’s Kitchen modelling chocolate and their advice is not to place their product in the freezer. I think it may have something to do with the chocolate sweating and blooming once it comes to room temperature. If you’ve made the paste at home this may be different. As a trial why not freeze some of your paste and see how it fares once defrosted. This way you’ll know whether or not it can be done safely.
