There’s quite a lot of discussion on the site about different types of sugarpaste, unfortunately the comments are scattered around. I’ve found a few which may be of help, there are many more which you may come across eventually. Here are some to be going on with:

I use Satin ice ivory which works very well for me, I don’t like the white at all. It’s possible you may have to try a lot more sugarpaste before you settle on one that you like. The market is changing all the time. All I can say really is try as many as you can, some online stores offer trial bundles which are worth exploring.
If you llive in a hot humid climate it may be advantageous to try the carmas massa which does have rave reviews by so many professionals. I live in the Uk but I’m certainly going to try it out.

To me I like Carma, but it does work out a bit expensive.
Therefore I now buy it from www.sugarpastedirect.co.uk
