Dark choc ganache with white fondant

0

Hi all..I’ve been asked to make bathroom scales for someone. Literally scales that say your weight..nothing even funky to make them look nice..I tried to offer candy stripes, spots, silver..nope they want boring plain white bathroom scales! What I have managed to sell is chocolate cake with dark choc ganache. I’m now worried will the chocolate show through the white fondant??

Paul uses dark ganache all the time with white or cream sugarpaste and doesn’t seem to have any problems with it coming through. Best make sure the ganache has set before applying the sugarpaste and all should be fine.

Kind regards, David

Make sure your sugarpaste is about 4mm thick. I’ve never had it show through unless it’s been really thin
