cream used for the chocolate ganache

Hi,
I have two questions:
1. Can you please tell me what’s the cream used for the chocolate ganache? where can I purchase it?
2. Where can I purchase the chocolate used for the ganache.

Hello Yesenia

The cream used in the tutorial is double cream. In other countries it may be know by a different name. The information in this link gives the equivalent in other countries http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cream

Paul uses Belcolade chocolate which can be purchased from many online cake baking and decorating stores or from Amazon. There are many other brands which can be used, to see them google ‘couverture brands’
Good quality eating chocolate can also be used instead of couverture.

I buy my Double Cream from Tesco and my Chocolate from the Chocolate Trading Company www.chocolatetradingco.com
I use the Callebaut Dark Chocolate Chips [Callets] also the Milk chocolate and white chocolate chips for my cakes/ ganache
You can buy them in 1kg 2.5kg and 10kg bags
