Countertop

What is the black with white specks countertop made from? Paul rolls fondant on it as well as cuts on it and yet there are no scratches visible and fondant seems to roll out quite well on it. I have seen it in older videos and newer videos, as well as in different rooms (maybe different countries?). Thank you, Buttercream Babe

Hi ButtercreamBabe

It’s a portable kitchen cabinet with granite countertop similar to what you can get in domestic kitchens. I think Paul transports it around every where he goes and just bolts it down to the ground for stability, hence you see it all over the place!

Thanks for answering my question. That was a good investment, I will keep granite in mind for whenever my kitchen counters get replaced.

I have granite worktops, I love them especially for tempering chocolate. If you’re based in the UK you can buy granite slabs quite cheaply from many kitchen shops. I’ve seen them in Lakeland and also in the more buget type stores like Dunelm Mills, all about the same price £15.00 well worth having!
