I have a problem when i’m trying to colour buttercream, if i try colour it blue for example, it turns a turqoise colour. wondered what i’m doing wrong?

Certain colours will not mix with the yellow in the butter. Blue is one of them. When mixed with yellow the colour changes to tuquoise/green. Take a look at my answer on how to correct it here:
