Hi can anyone tell me how to support the clear cake pillars? I know to use dowells for white plastic ones as the dowells are hidden.

Are you using the spiked clear pillars or the more traditional ones? The spiked pillars just get pushed into the cake without the need to dowel. The more traditional type are used in the same way as the white plastic pillars with clear plastic dowels. Hope this helps.
