Cake Topper Height

I watched the wedding cake where PAul put the bride and groom on top. I just wondered what is an acceptable height for a standing man? Im sure he said legs are 6cm but how do you jidge size of rest of body! Thanks x

Hi MazW

I use human figure templates like this http://medicalanatomy.net/outline-human-body/
Ajust the size of the template to however big you want your topper, print it out and use the proportions with pieces of gumpaste to make your figure by following Paul’s tutorial. Hope this helps.

Isn’t it always the way?! When I did art classes my tutor told me the torso was slightly longer than the legs, I can’t see it because some people have longer torsos and short legs and vise versa. The charts works well for me for other things too, like birds and insects for getting the shape. Enjoy x
