Hello aanuoluwapo

Is this for a fully decorated wedding cake?

The only type of cake which will freeze successfully for that lenght of time is fruit cake. Even then if it is fully decorated it would be advisable to remove any decorations and store them until the cake is defrosted. I can’t say whether the sugarpaste icing would survive although people do freeze sugarpaste.
Any decorated cake which is frozen will most probably require re icing. In the case of sponge cake this could end up being messy!
If fully decorated the only advice I can give is to wrap your cake up in plenty of cling film, expelling as much air as possible. Then wrap it in several layers of bubble wrap and place it in strong corrugated card board cake box. Seal the box with parcel tape and place that into another box and seal again with tape, finally cling the whole thing before placing in the freezer. The idea is to keep as much moisture as possible from reaching the cake and spoiling it. Defrost with all the wrapping on and in the boxes so the cake comes to room temperature gradually. Once defrosted take off all the wrapping and don’t touch until the icing is dry otherwise it will mark.
I’ve never done this but I’ve read in other forums where people have. I’ve searched for links unsuccessfully.

Fruit cake can be frozen or kept at room temperature in an air tight tin for several months without spoiling. The amount of fruit which this type of cake contains serves as perservative. Sponge cakes will freeze well for three months when undecorated. I don’t know how they fare when frozen with icing. Shelf life of defrosted cakes depends on freshness on day of freezing. Sponge cakes have an approximate shelf life of 5 – 7 days and that begins to tick on the day defrosting commences. For this reason cakes should be frozen on day of baking when ever possible.
I’m sorry I can’t suggest anything else, hopefully other members will contribute their ideas
