Burger and chips!

Hi everyone

I’m going to be making Paul’s burger cake for my so ex 14th birthday – however I’d like to add another element and make it a gravity defying cake with tomatoe sauce pouring over the top from the bottle.

So my question is what should I use for the ketchup bottle? I’m thinking a small plastic tomatoe sauce bottle- the squeeze one but will that be to heavy? All ideas welcome!

Thank you in advance

Hi Tania

The ketchup bottle won’t be too heavy as long as you use the right internal structure. Here’s one way:
http://cakesdecor.com/entries/1075-gravity-defying-chocolate-cake
There are different types of internal structures online, here is one:
http://www.cake-stuff.com/equipment-c7/pillars-dowels-pop-sticks-c70/pk-10-gravity-defying-cake-support-tube-rods-p6809
As you can see Cake Stuff is out of stock on this product but worth looking online in other stores if you don’t want to make one your self.

Hope this helps.
