Hello Heather

I’m sorry you are having problems following the chart. If you prefer you can use the cakeometre which calculates all the maths for you. The cakometre is here:
http://www.cakebaker.co.uk/apps-for-bakers/baking-tin-size-conversion-calculator/

I have converted the recipe on the site for 8″ square/9″ round, 8″ round and 10″ x 8″ rectangle.
Here is the 8″ square/9″ round:
http://www.cakeflix.com/questions/choc-recipe
10 x 8 is here http://www.cakeflix.com/questions/pauls-moist-chocolate-cake-my-feed-back/page/3
For the 8″ round halve the recipe or mutiply all the inmgredients by 0.5
I’ve searched and searched the site for my conversion and I can’t find it, it was possibly lost one time when the site went down. I can’t search any more, I’ve gone cross eyed!!

Hope this helps.
