Red Hot Chilli Piper turns 30
What kind of cake do you get Stuart Cassells from the Red Hot Chilli Pipers for his 30th birthday?
A Bagpipe birthday cake may have been the obvious choice, however his mum Pat had her own idea! As a lad, Stuart had a fascination for antique globes and now as a globe-trotter as part of the Red Hot Chilli Pipers, it was only right that his 30th birthday cake would encapsulate these themes.
Stuart’s 30th birthday party was well attended and we were grateful to hear some very complimentary comments about the cake - but we didn’t get to hear anything about the sore heads the next day!
Bespoke Birthday CakesÂ
This is one of many challenging bespoke cakes that we are working on this Summer, with a replica castle going out next week along with a commemorative stone look-a-like cake for Historic Scotland.Â

Apart from my 2½ yr old granddaughter Niamh, doing an impromtu striptease on the dance floor,the cake was the star of the party.The attention to detail with the names of the countries and the figuirine of Stuart was unmistakebly him.
The cake was a work of art and also tasted exquisite.Thank you very much Truly Scrumptious and I’m sure the cake will be a conversation topic for weeks to come.
